Today my family and I went into Sioux Falls to do some shopping. Argh! People are insane! It's one thing to be excited about shopping and wanting to hurry up and get it done. There is total chaos in the streets! Don't be looking down at your feet while you are walking in a parking lot because you are bound to get run over by someone trying to dial their cell phone, light a cigarette, and trying to back up at the same time!
Everyone needs to slow down and remember, it doesn't pay to hurry. Are we so wrapped up in ourselves that we forget about the others around us? It was touching to see people standing in line at the big red buckets for the Salvation Army waiting to put their donation in. So I guess it isn't all that bad. I just want everyone to be safe and make it home to their families on the eve of this great holiday. The birth of Christ. Oh yeah.. that big fat jolly guy that leaves gifts isn't bad either.
